got scared don’t be I am ok just trying out my festival avatar as I have to teach this to naughty Omaira as well…keeping this aside, I am so sure you all must be really busy managing your personal and professional commitments as this is the season…season of fun…season of festivalsss.
Shopping is a very important element of this season..actually its an important element of every woman..every day…every year and every season 😉
But there’s nothing like Diwali shopping as it is the most amazing part of the season. I prepared this long list of things I need to buy for me, my family, relatives and obviously for all my friends!!
When I started writing it..ohoooo….it was not coming to end.. after every 5 minutes I used to realize that I have forgotten something…super brain storming!!!
But, I managed to slide through this difficult rather super difficult activity and ended my final list. Not just to say but I truly believe that shopping should be done keeping comfort in mind…comfort in what you wear while shopping & comfort in pricing…and most importantly one should be comfortable in what you buy!!
So, today me and my little shopper – Omaira decided to go for shopping to nearby markets & malls as I really wanted to shop with her so, that I can show her the various elements of Diwali…I want her to see them, touch them, feel them as STF (See – Touch – Feel) technique is the best way to learn about anything using all the sensory motions in your body!!
Try this STF technique with your kids as it really works..I tried the same while teaching her about vegetables & fruits…trust me it really helped her to learn and eased my pain.
We partners in crime decided to start our fun shopping trip in the evening as it was hot outside…I wanted to dress her up in easy clothing but as you all know me easy but trendy!!
As its in the air..I mingled up various attires & accessories to get this awesome combo which was modern yet ethnic..which was different yet fashionable. I gave this “Hare Krishna…Hare Ram” look by using this saffron yellowish high neck band cotton kurta which I bought from Amazon and it had these mantras & shloks scribbled over it and seriously…I think its really out of the box kind of apparel. I teamed it up with a beige pants which I bought from Amazon.
I wanted this look to be really neat & smart so I tied her hair upwards like a small pony and made her wear this black mary jane T strap shoes which I bought from Hopscotch and I don’t know what happened to O, she went to my room and got this beige potli bag which to my surprise blended really well with her look…it has that Zari & Kundan embroidery over it and look ohhh so beautiful!! She really surprised me..I guess she understood the colour combo and at th end of the day..the truth is she is a girl…my girl…hehehehehe…. 😉
So, little Ms. Omiara is all ready to go and raid the shops..I still need to get dressed up so, time to go people will catch you later..keep coming back for more festive looks…I am so sure you have loved this look…don’t wait leave your kind comments below and do share what look have you planned for you & your little one!!
Did you know?
How Mantras Work. Mantras are repetitive sounds used to penetrate the depths of the unconscious mind and adjust the vibration of all aspects of your being. Mantrasare vibrated through chanting aloud, mental practice, or by listening to them. The experience of how sound vibrations effect your being is Naad yoga.
Quick tip : Amalgamate a new look by adding a white or a beige skirt with this kurta tucked in..add a little more fun by adding a similar colour scarf around the neck…which can look like a modern day dupatta…I think it will look amazing!!
